Synopsis of the performance
A confessional performance, an intriguing performance, in which a “little” man tries to convey
his opinion about current events to the “great ones of this world.
He tries to “reach” the hardened hearts of the rulers and arbiters of human destinies with his pain, his memories, his dreams.
The play is filled with age-old human wisdom; it is permeated with subtle, ironic humor, a light sadness, and a central intrigue: will the barber's hopes be heard?
