The company staged the play "Dear Elena Sergeevna" based on the play of the same name by Lyudmila Razumovskaya.

The fifth competition day of the "Vivat, Theatre!" festival will undoubtedly be remembered by Tambov audiences. Even familiar with the play's content, many spectators were shocked by what unfolded on stage.

The conflict between good and evil, personified in the confrontation between a mathematics teacher and her graduates. She is a simple Soviet woman, raised with high ideals of justice, truth, and moral purity.

Schoolchildren are representatives of the new, tough business world, which will step over heads if necessary.

For Elena Sergeyevna, their actions represent the collapse of her entire teaching career. And, moreover, "a betrayal of those whom, just a moment ago, she considered friends."

The situation itself seems highly exaggerated, but that doesn't make it any less poignant. The audience feels immersed and drawn into the events unfolding in the small Soviet apartment.

Aelita Khlopotova , performer of the role of Elena Sergeevna:

This play is actually performed in a small room, so people can feel every emotion. Young people who come to see it, even 8th and 9th graders, leave in tears.

The violent climax and subsequent denouement leave no one indifferent. Quiet murmurs could be heard in the Tambov Youth Theater, as people were shocked and stunned by what was happening.

When the performance ended, the audience gave a long standing ovation, loudly shouting "Bravo." For the actors, this is the best reward for their hard work.
