10TH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
OF CHAMBER THEATERS AND SMALL-FORM PERFORMANCES
"MOLDFEST"
1. The Regulations of the X International Festival of Chamber Theatres and Small-Scale Performances (hereinafter referred to as the Festival), organized by the State Youth Drama Theatre “From Rose Street”, determine the procedure for its preparation, holding and awarding of participants and guests of the Festival.
2. Dates of the Festival:
The festival will be held from December 3rd to 9th.
Arrival of participants and guests will be on December 3rd.
The grand opening of the festival will be on
December 3rd. The grand closing of the festival
will be on December 9th. Departure of participants and guests will be on December 9th.
3. Goals and objectives of the Festival:
— continuation of festival traditions in the Republic of Moldova and at the State Youth Drama Theatre "From Rose Street";
— support of theatrical ties between Moldova and theatres of other countries;
— creative studies, exchange of experience of actors, directors, playwrights, theatre critics, theatre directors;
— promotion of the best performances, the best directing and acting works;
— mutual enrichment and exchange of theatrical artistic and aesthetic ideas in the field of directing, acting, scenography;
— implementation of creative communication between groups and the emergence of strong cultural ties;
— support of professional theatrical art and traditions of Russian theatre;
— promotion of world and classical theatrical dramaturgy among the general public in the Republic of Moldova.
4. Festival participants:
— Theatrical companies from any country in the world may participate in the Festival, in accordance with these Regulations, upon submitting an application to the Festival Organizing Committee by July 1, 2018.
Along with the application, please send photographs and a video (link) of the performance, a program, posters, a list of attendees with passport information, a list of hotel accommodations, and a completed application form (attached).
— The total number of participants per company is negotiated individually with each theater company.
5. Conditions of participation:
— The Festival organizers provide the Festival participants with hotel accommodation, excursion services, three meals a day, equipped stages for performances, technical personnel for showing the performances (lighting and sound operators), organizational administrative personnel, and press conferences.
— The Festival will include discussions of performances by professional theatre critics from around the world, master classes by renowned theatre figures, relaxation and socialising in the evening ART Club, and viewings of performances by theatres participating in the Festival;
— performances of the participating countries are not shown on a commercial basis;
— payment for travel of theatrical groups participating in the Festival to Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) and back – at the expense of the sending party;
6. The X International Festival "MOLDFEST. RAMPA. RU" and playwrights from many countries: Russia, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Luxembourg, Sweden, Italy, Great Britain, Israel, France, the USA, etc. The festival program includes theatre productions in Russian.
7. Awarding:
— theatres participating in the Festival are awarded with honorary diplomas of Festival Laureates, Festival award badges and gifts;
8. Organizing Committee:
— the overall management of the Festival is entrusted to the Organizing Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee), which includes representatives of the Festival organizers.
— the Organizing Committee is responsible for the preparation, advertising, and holding of the Festival, determining and managing the budget;
— the Organizing Committee has the right to amend and supplement these Regulations;
— the schedule of rehearsals and performances of groups is determined by the Organizing Committee.

CHAMBER THEATERS AND SPECTACLES OF SMALL FORMS
MOLDFEST
1. The position of the International Festival of Chamber Theaters and Small Forms Performances (hereinafter the Festival), organized by the State Youth Drama Theater “From the Street of Roses”, determines the procedure for its preparation, conduct and rewarding of participants and guests of the Festival.
2. Dates of the Festival:
The festival will be held from 3 to 9 December 2018. Arrival of participants and guests of the Festival on December 3. Solemn opening of the Festival on December 3. Solemn closing of the Festival on December 9. Departure of participants and guests of the Festival on December 9.
3. Goals and objectives of the Festival:
— preservation of the traditions of the Russian theater school on the stage;
— continuation of festival traditions in the Republic of Moldova and in the State Youth Drama Theater “From the Street of Roses”;
— support of theatrical relations of Moldova with the theaters of other countries;
— creative studies, exchange of experience of actors, directors, playwrights, theater critics, directors of theaters;
— demonstration of the best performances, director's and actor's works;
— mutual enrichment and interchange of theatrical artistic and aesthetic ideas in the field of directing, acting, stage design; — the implementation of creative communication between collectives and the emergence of strong cultural ties; — Support for professional theatrical art, including in Russian, among the spectators of the capital of the Republic of Moldova.
4. Participants of the Festival:
- in the Festival theatrical collectives of any countries of the world can take part, in accordance with this Regulation, which applied to the Organizing Committee of the Festival until 2018, July 1;
along with the application should send photos and video (link) of the play, a program, posters, a list of visitors with passport data, a list for resettlement in the hotel filled in questionnaire (application form attached).
— The total number of participants from the collective is discussed with each theatrical collective individually.
5. Conditions of participation:
— The organizers of the Festival provide the participants of the Festival with accommodation in the hotel, excursion services, 3 meals a day, equipped with scenic stages for performances, technical personnel for performing performances (light and sound technicians), organizational administrative staff, holding press conferences. — Within the framework of the Festival, it is planned to discuss the performances by professional theater critics from different countries of the world, master classes of famous theater figures, rest and communication in the evening ART club, watching performances of the theater participants of the Festival; — shows of the performances of the participating countries are not conducted on a commercial basis;
— payment for travel of theater groups — participants of the Festival to the city of Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) and back — at the expense of the sending party;
6. Within the framework of the International Festival “MOLDFEST. RAMPA.RU”
Theatrical collectives, theater experts and theater critics, playwrights from many countries: Russia, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Luxembourg, Sweden, Italy, Great Britain, Israel, France, the USA, etc. The program of the festival combines theatrical productions mainly in Russian, and in the languages of the participating countries.
7. Rewarding:
— Theaters-participants of the Festival are awarded with honorary diplomas of the Laureates of the Festival, awards of the Festival and gifts;
8. Organizing Committee:
- the general management of the Festival is entrusted to the Organizing Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee), which includes representatives of the Festival organizers.
— The organizing committee prepares, advertises and conducts the Festival, determines the budget, disposes of it;
— The Organizing Committee has the right to introduce changes and additions to this Regulation;
— Schedule of rehearsals, performances of groups is formed by the Organizing Committee.
