Synopsis of the performance

Thornton Wilder himself, the author of the play Our Town, said of his work: “This is a simple play in which all the complex themes are present, and this is the most complex play in which I talk with love about the simplest things in the world.”

The play takes place in the early 20th century in the town of Grovers Crovers, New Hampshire, where several families live side by side, thriving in the ordinary suburban life. All the essential elements of life unfold before the audience's eyes—birth and death, the struggle between parents and children, love.

The play "Our Town" is a sublime poetry of everyday life. On the one hand, everything seems banal—the calm flow of life with all its mundane nuances. But it contains the theme of life and death, poignant to the point of tears. "People don't understand what life is while they're alive. In every, every moment of life. Do we understand and appreciate every moment of life with our loved ones?

The performance will not leave the audience indifferent and will raise many questions to which only each person has answers in their own soul.
