Synopsis of the performance
A good old fairy tale for children and adults, in which the audience will meet the most famous lazy person, Emelya. He doesn't want to get down from the stove, but then he won't get any gifts from his brothers. So, Emelya is forced to go to the ice hole. And it turns out this is the last thing he will ever do on his own, because in the hole he meets a magic pike, who promises that any wish can be granted if he says the magic words, "By the Pike's command, by my will!" Emelya obeyed, let the pike go, and remembered the magic words. Now everything Emelya wishes for comes true: sleighs move without a horse, firewood chops without an axe, buckets of water walk into the hut by themselves!
"Every fairy tale is a lie, but there's a hint in it": hope for the pike, but don't be lazy yourself! And instead of lying on the stove your whole life waiting for the pike's mercy, wouldn't it be better to build your own happiness?
This vibrant, fairytale-like story, created by director Yuri Kharmelin and the actors of the State Youth Drama Theater "From Rose Street," will surprise and captivate any viewer!
