Abstract:
A hilarious play about how Fedot the Strelets carried out the orders of the foolish Tsar and the cunning Baba Yaga. The fairy tale form helps tell the story of the relationship between the people and the authorities, of the cunning and the truth-seekers. Songs, dances, and funny situations are all in this popular comedy!
The performance features Russian folk songs!
The premiere took place in 1988.
A remake of the play took place in 2007 for Leonid Filatov’s 60th birthday.
The performance is designed for audiences ages 13 and up.
